You’re probably familiar with some of the most famous ones, like Arbequina, Picual, Koroneiki, or Frantoio.
But maybe others like Canetera, Alfafarenca, Chanclot Real, Borriolenca, Serrana, Blanqueta, Hojiblanca, or Cornicabra don’t sound as familiar.
And we’d dare to say that you’ve probably never heard of the FARGA variety. Well, that’s the variety of our ANCIENT OLIVE TREES. Yes, on the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula, along the Mediterranean, in the Maestrat/Senia region, lies the Valley of the Ancient Olive Trees. The largest concentration of olive trees over 1,000 years old in the world. And there, in the heart of this valley, EL POAIG was born.
