Handmade porcelain
Opaque porcelain protects the oil from light. Its thermal inertia also tempers changes in temperature better than any other material, keeping the oil in a more stable environment until it is served.
THE OLIERA
The EL MIL DEL POAIG oliera is not packaging. It is the final part of a preservation system conceived so the oil reaches the table exactly as it left the mill.
Opaque porcelain protects the oil from light. Its thermal inertia also tempers changes in temperature better than any other material, keeping the oil in a more stable environment until it is served.
The porcelain pouring spout guides the oil as it is served, controls the flow and helps prevent unnecessary drips. Its design also lets us observe the colour of the oil as it travels towards the inside of the oliera.
We keep the oil in stainless-steel tanks inerted with nitrogen or argon and bottle it only when your order is prepared, preserving all its organoleptic properties.
THE PROCESS
Yanet works piece by piece. From preparing the mould to the final finish, every oliera requires time, precision and the passion of our craftswoman.
